Position: Senior Data Scientist

Required skills:
• 5+ years of experience.
• Bachelor’s degree required, Advanced Degree in statistics, mathematics or other quantitative field preferred.
• Strong statistical and analytical skills. Proven experience with statistical modeling approaches and principles of machine learning techniques.
• Understanding of advanced statistical techniques used in behavioral patterns analysis and predictive modeling.
• Experience with R/Python (Pandas, SciPy, NumPy, etc), SAS/STAT/SPSS
• Experience with ETL/ELT (SQL, RDBMS) and BigData (Spark, HDFS, Kafka, BigQuery, etc).
• Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Jypyter, etc).
• Experience extracting, manipulating, converting and analyzing large datasets.
Responsibilities:
• Design, develop and maintain ETL/ELT processes that transform poorly structured data from various sources and in various formats to well structured database.
• Use statistical tools to interpret data sets, paying particular attention to trends and patterns that could be valuable for behavioral patterns analysis and predictive modeling.
• Keep a track of trends, patterns and correlation in case of complex data sets.
• Collaborate with development team to identify opportunities for data collection and transformation improvements, recommend proper solutions and participate in the implementation.
• Prepare data reports and data visualization.
• Create and maintain appropriate documentation that allows stakeholders to understand the steps of the data analysis processes and duplicate or replicate the analysis if necessary.
